In conjunction with West Sonoma Coast Vintners, we’ll take part in this dinner on a West Sonoma Coast site on vivid green forested slopes a few miles from the Pacific Ocean. It’s stunningly beautiful here. Guest Chef Hiroo Nagahara describes his style as modern kaiseki – scenic, ingredient-driven cuisine in which every dish has a story. He is driven by the challenge of taking an ingredient of the highest quality from Mother Nature and transforming it into something greater without destroying its purity. Sarah will be pouring Gros Ventre wines in beautiful Door County while Aberdeen Angus cattle graze on ultra-beautiful, ultra-healthy green grass on low rolling hills. Close by are the cool clean waters of Lake Michigan. Chefs Mike and Matt of the Wickman House again join us in the field kitchen.
